Legal Question in Construction Law in Florida
Agreements between Private Parties and General Conractors
I am about to embark on a major renovation project on my home. I have interviewed many General Contractors and will select one shortly. I would like to know if you have a specific template or can recomend one for an agreement which will provide a ''water tight'' contract between the GC and myself. Thanks for your help.

Re: Agreements between Private Parties and General Conractors
That is something you will need to hire a lawyer for. Your contractor should have a contract. If he does not then there is something wrong. Then the lawyer will add clauses to insure your protection to the best of his/her ability and without blowing "the deal."
