Condo Board
We are being accused of the falling of the ceiling of the Apt. below.
There was a water leak.They first blamed the occuoant next door,who then refused to let them back into her unit.So they come to my unit (maintaince man)a nd had stated it was conditioner.This is impossible as I had it serviced the week before.I then had another repair in a he assured me it was not leaking and it was highly imprbable that this would leak to the next floor. I am now being harrised by the board and th eowner below to pay or else.

I would ask them to have their attorney contact you or leave you alone. This could possibly lead to litigation, but it would be expensive on both sides and wouldlikely be difficult to prove. i would checkinto coverage by the joint insurance company regarding the damage, and in the interim, get all the evidence you can get in your favor in writing. It is possible to obtain an injunction if the harrassment is severe, but that would require the services of an attorney in your area.
