Legal Question in Construction Law in Florida

Contractors closed business

2 months ago I ordered custom fitted windows from a local company that I had used (successfully) 5 years ago. I understood that it would take some time which is why I didn't call sooner. Come to find out, they have closed their business and my $1400 nor the windows are anywhere to be found. What recourse do I have to get my money back?

You are probably out of luck. If they are out of business you money is probably long gone.
