Legal Question in Construction Law in Florida
gc holding retainage on sub
the gc we are working for is holding retainage on us however, the owner is not holding retainage on them (the gc). Is this legal? The owner is the govt.

Florida Statute 713.345 is entitled Moneys received for real property improvements and it provides a penalty if moneys are received and not properly disbursed.
