Legal Question in Construction Law in Florida
un license
we hired a person to do are roofing job and we paid him $2000. six months later and still nothing. so we send him a notified letter saying that he didnt give the money back or starts in five business day that we will proccee with legal action. well time is up and i need to know whats my next step how do i take him to court?

Go to the court house. Tell them you need to file a small claims action. They will give you a package and help you. Take it home and fill it out and return it to them when you are done. Good luck.
