Legal Question in Construction Law in Florida

Why are oral contracts today used at high contract sums even though we know the reasons plagued by these types of contracts ? I use them all the time with no disputes thus far.

Contracts for the renovation of homes must be in writing per FL Statute. I would highly recommend you start putting all of your contracts in writing as well. As long as projects end well and people are happy there is no issue. It only takes one unhappy customer and dispute to put a company out of business. Risk management is important and you should start using written agreements. Just my recommendation.
