Legal Question in Construction Law in Florida
Personal Liability of a Contractor
Can a contractor who is incorporated hide behind his corporation and avoid being held personally liable or be named personally in addition to his corporation in a lawsuit? There are only two officers in the corporation: The contractor is president and his wife is vicepresident. Is there any recent supportive case law?

Murthy vs. Sinha is a supreme court case that held a qualifier liable. Good Luck.
