Poor workmanship
I paid someone to fix a room in my house and a year later the floor is falling in. What action can I take legally?

Re: Poor workmanship
(1) Read the contract and see if there is a warranty. (2) Write a nice letter "reasonably detailing" each particular complaint, dispute or disatisfaction you are experiencing and ask the contractor to come out and inspect it and please fix the problem. (3) Send the letter certified mail or by facsimile. (4) If they refuse to fix after you have given them a reasonable opportunity to cure the defect then you may need to consult a local lawyer to sue for the defective construction. But before you hire a lawyer try to resolve matters amicably. Best of Luck!!
