Legal Question in Construction Law in Florida
We recently paid to have our Kitchen remolded and the contractor was supposed to seal our marble backsplach before grout and after grout. Per the instructions given by the tile company. This did not happen and we have grout in the small fishers of the marble. To fix this it will cost about 4k to rip out and redo and the contractor is refusing to honor the mistake.
our contract says that "The project will be built to the approved permitted plans and specifications including drawings, shop drawings, schematics and instruments of service."
Would anything in our contract part above qualify as to a breach if the contractor will not uphold and fix the mistake?
