Legal Question in Construction Law in Florida
replacing existing fence what are perameters
We arte replacing our existing fence and want to move fence out a few feet from the side of house. Not sure what the regulations are for how far we can go out to the side of the street. Four feet or eight or what? I have found no user friendly law guides when Looking in Pinellas County Florida.

Re: replacing existing fence what are perameters
Call the city. Try municodes.com. You will need to pull a permit anyway and indicate on the survey where you want to place the fence. It must not be within the set back requirements. Best recommendation is to hire a fencing contractor because if you build it in the wrong place you could be fined for amongst other things not building it according to code, trespassing on property that does not belong to you, etc.... But I would not take the chance and do it yourself.
Good luck,
