Legal Question in Construction Law in Florida
As a result of a kitchen fire and the hurricane our landlord had a contractor in for some repairs. to accomplish the work the contractor had to remove our belongings from the house and store them in a POD storage unit in the drive way. the contractor's people took absolutely no care in packing our belongings, so our bedroom suite is scratched and broken as well as some picture frames and ceramic art pieces. despite having an abundance of packing blankets nothing was wrapped or protected . Can we sue them and if so what kind of attorney so we need ?
