Legal Question in Construction Law in Florida
Can I sue my landscaper? I paid for 4 tons of dirt and zoysia sod. The sod died in a month. He assured me if I watered it everyday and got a lawn chemical guy it would come back. This cost me more money. It never came and he put another layer of sod on top of the dead sod with out using a herbicide to kill the first patch of sod. The new sod died in 2 weeks. So far it has cost me 5k. I need the new sod removed because it is 4 inches above the ground and the old sod removed as well. I need new sod as well. Can I sue my landscaper?

The short answer, based on the facts you presented is yes you can file suit for damages. There are certain steps you should follow before filing a lawsuit; but, from the sound of it you would have a valid claim.
