Can i turn my garage into a bedroom?
i live in a subdivision and my dad says that there are building codes which is why we cant turn it into a bedroom. so my question is how can i legally do it or like who do i need to pay? cause i really want my own bedroom and my 15th birthday is tommorrow so i REALLY want my own room and he says he would EXCEPT for the codes so PLEASE get back to me on this question.

It really doesn't matter, as you are 15. happy birthday, by the way.
First, you don't own the house. Second, as a 15 year old, you are not able to sign a contract. Third, there probably are building codes, which means your Dad would have to hire a licensed contractor to perform the work, and they do not come cheap. I doubt you have the money to pay a contractor to perform the work, although I could be wrong. Lastly, your Dad has made it pretty clear that he is not going to turn the garage into a bedroom.
