Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
used 52 inch HDTV Doesn't work
Last night we bought a 52 in HDTV from a seller off Craig's list. When we went to see the set it was on and a child was watching it. We looked at it but we never turned it off since the child was watching it. Got it home and now it doesnt turn back on. I am sure that it why he had child in front of it so we wouldn't push buttons..I ask man if he ever had any problems with set. He said no that he just got a new flat panel and needed to get rid of this one. Do we have any legal rights?

Probably not. No warranty. You would need to prove that he knew there was something wrong (and that there was in fact something wrong when you bought it).
