Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
air bag deployment
My daughter bought a used van. She had an accident, that rolled the van, and the airbag did not deploy, so she hit her head on the steering wheel. We later checked with carfax and found out this van had been in a front end collision. The dealer never told her that, and sold the van to her for book value-$10000. Does she have any recourse with the dealer in this matter. Shouldn't he have informed her that the van had been in an accident.

Re: air bag deployment
Please advise whether the air bag deployed in the first accident? Did the dealer know about the first accident or have reason to know? These are some important questions that need to be answered.
