Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Alarm Security Companies trap customers in the Contract. That Contract is Auto-renewed. What are the laws ? Breaking contract with them should only have limited cancellation fee and not the service fee for the entire period ? This is a scam and there are thousands of complaints, if we Google on internet. Thousands of their customers never raised the voice and are paying because they did mistake of not reading contract at the time of signing or not realizing its impact. What the law says? What is best way to appeal for amendment of law to save thousands of people from this crime.

The law says listen to the contract. The key to your question is "mistake of not reading the contract at the time of signing." If it is unconscionable, seek rescission of the contract. You may also report it to the Attorney General's office. http://myfloridalegal.com/
