Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Auto repair shop tow and repair with out my knowledge
I was storing a car at my ex boyfriends house garage. He had it towed without my cinsent to a repair shop. The shop did some repairs without his consent or my knowledge. He called me to tell me that the shop will not give uo the car Unless I pay $1200. What can I do? NO wriiten repair estimate or work order.

They are not entitled to be paid without a written repair estimate or a waiver in writing. Go in and ask to see the authorization paperwork. I suspect that boyfriend told them to fix the car.
