Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Auto Repo
I was the main signer with my son as co signer for an auto loan for a car for my son. The car was recently repossed with about 10,000 or 12,000 still owed as my son could no longer pay. I don't have the money to pay. What can they do and if a judgement, can they garnish my wages? I live in Wisconsin and work in Illinois?

Re: Auto Repo
They can get a judgment against you. Whether they can garnish your wages depends on the laws of the state where you are living. Try to work something out with them (and with your son) about what is owed. Negotiation on the front end is almost always better than negotiation on the back end.
