Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Our Basset Hounds had puppies. The parents are both AKC Open Registered and we saw them tie. We sold the puppies as Basset Hound puppies with a health guarantee.
Our dogs are in our yard during the day at periods of time by themselves, but we have NEVER seen any stray dogs near our home.
One of the people who bought puppies from us a month ago called today and said their vet told them they are Beagle/Basset Hound mixed puppies. To the best of our knowledge- this is NOT correct, but weird things happen.
Legally what actions could they take against us and what can happen?

Have another vet check the puppie out to verify whether it is true or not. If true, then own up to it.
