Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

I bought a bag of Hersheys miniatures, the krackel bars inside were nasty and the one I ate made me sick. Hersheys said it was from being stored next to something in the grocery store. All the other candy was fine in the bag. How can I get the krackel bars left tested for toxins without having to pay for it? Hersheys has no laboratory facilities to test it and told me to throw them away.

Go to your doctor. If the doctor does not feel testing is necessary then why do so? Contact Hersheys; I suspectr they will pay for the visit.

Hersheys corp will pay for your doctor visit but not for independent testing, unless it is found that you have Botulism or Salmonella poisoning or something crazy like that. Just toss the candy bars in the trash and ask for a refund from Hersheys.
