Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
I bought a used car from a dealership in Florida saturday night right before they closed. Monday morning the transmission was slipping and we returned the car. They put it in their service department which said it was shot. The GM said he would get it repaired. We are very worried. Can we get out of this purchase? Thanks

You should be able to get an extended warranty on the transmission. Your question makes a good point that ALL used vehicle buyers should make their purchase subject to inspection and approval of the vehicle by an independent mechanic.
