Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Bought a car with a down payment and the dealer cashed the check. The dealer called me this afternoon which is 12 days later after I signed the finance paper work and said that the finance deal fell through or I can get a car loan from a local bank.
What are the Florida laws on this. I thought once the finance deal goes through and the dealer lets you drive off the lot then that's your contract. The dealer signed it and the buyer signed it!

This what they call in the industry as yo-yo sales, and they may be illegal depending on the facts. I would tell him you are sorry but you signed off on the deal. Ask him for proof that he sought financing on the day you applied. If he did not, you got him, probably. see www.ConsumerLawyerHelp.com
