Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

i brought a laptop computer on the 13th october for a present for my son on the 14th i was asked to call the shop i returned the call to be told that they gave me the wrong computer an that i could either have a refund for the difference for the computer i should have had or i can keep the one i have then about 20 minutes later the store returned the call to say that i owe them $240.00 as i have been given the lager of the 2 computers what are my legal rights as my son has started using his birthday/xmas present

Look at the paper work and see what it says. If it acurately describes your computer and has the correct id number, I would agrue they are stuck. However if it is not the same, mistake of fact can be a defense as well as other theories. In that case, negotiate. Offer them $100.
