Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Bug in fast food drink
I drank a soda from a national fast food chain, and after drinking it all I took the top off and found a bug in several pices. I started throwing up immediatly, and am having a hard time drinking anything that I do not make myself. They offered a refund of my drink, but I do not feel that is sufficant. If I ask for a small settlement, is there any chance of something?

NOTE: This communication is not intended as and should not be interpreted as legal advice. Rather, it is intended solely as a general discussion of legal principles. You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. You can certainly try and have nothing to lose. They may offer you a small settlement as "nuisance value". If you press for more, the going may get very tough.
