Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
i was going to buy a car from an individual and gave him 400.00 i was to give him another 400.00 in 2 weeks, i then found out that the car had been in an accident and the insurance company had totaled the car because it would cost more to fix it than it was worth, i did not want to buy the car because he did not tell me about the accident. he has not given me the 400.00 back what can i do?

Your alternative to buying the car would be to sue in small claims court.

You could go to small claims court to try to recover your $400.
