Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Car dealer paid my car off late! It hurt my credit!
I recently traded a car in at a local dealer. They told me it would be paid off within 10 days. Turns out they did not pay it off more than 45 days, and I was hit wih a 30 day late pay on all 3 credit reports. I applied for a few lines of credit after that and was denied because of ''cureent delinquent obligations''. The only current delinquent is this car. I still owe them $4k on a promissary note, but told them I wasnt paying them until they fixed this probelm. They have ruined my credit and my credibility. What are my options?
