Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Car rental company didn't give confirmed rate nor deposit back
I rented a car thru a travel agency got a confirmation with a rate on it. When I went to pick up the car, since they hadn't received the confirmation yet agreed to honor the rate and held a 150$ deposit. When I returned the car they gave me a different rate and when I showed the confirmation they threw me out and refused to refund my deposit.

It sounds like the car rental place has violated the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act. You can look at my preliminary website http://www.lawguru.com/users/attorney/yogidog/index.html for more information. You can also call me to discuss your case further at no cost to you.
