Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Car tags
I was told my tags would be shiped to me and that I owed nothing else. 2 weeks after my temp tag expired the dealership says I owe 311.18 before they send me the tags. I feel like i was lied to and don,t feel I owe this money but I can,t drive my new car with out the tags. Do I have any rights.

Were you told or is it in writing? If you were only told you are out of luck.

You should not rely on or take action based on this communication without first presenting ALL relevant details to a competent attorney in your jurisdiction and then receiving the attorney's individualized advice for you. You must read your Agreement to purchase the car. If it says that the cost of the title and tags was included, then they cannot charge you any more monies. If not, then you are responsible.
