Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Car title
My husband Co-signed on a car for an ex a few years ago. She stopped paying for the car, and we have it in our possesion. We are trying to renew the tags, and since her names on the title they need his and her signature. She refuses to sign it over, or pay anything. She says we owe her for the time she did pay on it. How can we get these tags renewed so we can sell it and move on with our life? We are from florida.
