been charged wrongfully
Rented a vacation home for a weekend, left everything in place the place just needed a to be cleaned thouroughly but have been charged $8000 for damages which are 99% not true.

Did you take pictures (as you should have)? If not, you'll need to defend the claim, whatever it is. Get your witnesses together.
