Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

Can i ask for compensation or sue USPS for not forwarding my mails to my new address? I put for change of address on december 1st 2009 and today is 15th jan 2010, am still not receiving my mail forwarded.

The main thing is Immigration services posted a document to me on december 2nd 2009, but i did not receive that document yet. I complained about this like 15-20 times and also i spoke with the supervisor and the consumer's affairs. They said they can't do anything about it.

The mail that am supposed to receive from the Immigration Services is my Employment Authorization Card. If i don have it, i cannot stay in the united states anymore, Am already running out of time too. Immigration Office said i gotta reply , but for that i gotta pay the fee again and wait for 3 more months.

So now, Can i ask for compensatin or sue the USPS?

Please help me with this....
