Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Consumer Protection Laws
I am fed up with the various health services that require you to sign a biased legal form which basically protects the provider against deadbeats, but limits or strips the signer of his legal consumer rights. Does a recognized legal caveat exist that the signer can add to the bottom of the form that offers protection, such as ''The above notwithstanding, the signer below reserves all consumer rights granted by any and all currently existing laws, state or federal''? If there is such a phrase, I would be much appreciative if you would forward it to me by return E-mail as soon as convenient.

Re: Consumer Protection Laws
Were you to add such a phrase, the provider of the goods or services need not agree to your alteration. All limiations are subject to consumer protection statutes.
