Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
consumer/warranty
my husband purchased a motor for our daughters drag car. it was installed, ran down the strip 3 times and blew. i phoned the company that built the motor and they asked me to ship it back so they could examine it. it was shipped back within 3 days (March 08) and it has been there ever since. the motor builder said it was the fault of inferior parts used in the motor, was going to rebuild it and ship it back. at that time he thought it would be about 3/4 weeks. i have phoned every 2 - 3 weeks (sometimes more often) and i still cannot get the motor or my money back. it has been there since the end of March. i am trying to find resolution. i would like either my motor or money returned ($10,000). i reside in florida, the motor builder lives in north carolina.

Re: consumer/warranty
You will probably need to sue, if they are now ignoring you. Keep pressing them to give you a new motor, but if they won't go ahead and sue them.
