Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

The following is a copy of an email I sent to Seaworld. And I have not heard from them back yet. What rights do I have? Thank you , Virginia Davis

I want to say first that we are passport members and I have lived in Orlando for 30 years and never have had an issue until now. We purchased 2 chocolate milks in the happy harbor area for my 6 and 4 yr old kids and after drinking it, they said it tasted weird. Well, turns out they were drinking old spoiled milk, 2 weeks past expiration date (may24th), and today is june 7th. The lady nicely let us exchange it for juice only to find that all the chocolate milks on the shelf were expired. We were really upset about this so we took one of the milks to the guest relations. Which was pointless because all they did was send someone over from the culinary department to tell us that "its not their milk". that the milk they put out is in the plastic containers and these were in the paper like ones. (like in school). SO, not only were old spoiled milk sold in the area kids play, and my kids were drinking.. now I guess its not even "their milk".??? And all we got was just got pushed away with "sorry". Why was milk being sold that isnt yours and also expired??. I am very upset about this situation and I am not satisfied with "im sorry, its not our milk". I will be calling tomorrow to speak with someone to make sure I get heard about this.

You don't have any legal recourse (unless your kids got ill from drinking the milk and required medical treatment that cost you money). However, I do agree with you that it sounds like you weren't treated very well. Perhaps you will eventually get an answer to your email.
