Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
credit card dispute
I had some work done at my home and paid by credit card, the quality of the work was substandard. I filed a dispute thru my credit card and they ruled in my favor and did not pay the vender. now the vender has turned me over to a collections agency with the threat to take me to court and sue for the amount they did not recieve. am I legally responsible for the amount not paid by my credit card company for the poor workmanship. the company did receive 1/2 of the total repairs in cash and have been paid that amount
