Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

Credit card purchase refund policy

I recently made apurchase to have some printing done. It was sent back to me to have the design fixed. By then I decided I was going to wait a month before proceeding. When I called to cancel my order I was told that I would be charged a 15% cancellation fee on top of that it has been a week and I been told it has been sent to accounting and will be processed. Is this lawful? Once you make a cancellation how long can a company wait before crediting back your credit card if no service has been provided

They can wait as long as your contract with them says they can. In fact, unless you have a contract with them which says so, you may not even be entitled to a refund.

Don't let 60 days pass from the date you originally made the charge. Up until that date, you still have the right to dispute the charge on your credit card, and you could possibly get all your money back.
