Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
My daughter purchased a car a few months ago. She paid the car in full but still owes 250 for tag and title. After three weeks of owning the car things broke down and we had to pay 1000.00 out of pocket to get it fixed. They gave her the tag already but has put the title on a lien. He wants the remainder of the money and said he will repo the car if she doesn't pay the 250 in full this week. She is a full time student and works at night and has a child. I told the guy she would pay 50 a month but he said no, all or nothing!! Can he do that?? The car was paid in full, can he repo it?

If she owes the dealer $250 then she hasn't paid in full. Unless your contract with the seller stated that you could pay by installments, then the total is due upon delivery of the car.
