Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Faulty Airbag, No major injuries. Do I have a Case?
We live in Georgia and had an accident in Florida. The front of my minivan was crushed and the car may be a total loss. The airbags never deployed. Only minor injuries were sustained. The auto body shop's opinion is they should have deployed and the Car Company is sending someone (my request) to examine the car to see if the airbags should have deployed. My question is - Do we have a case?

A case needs liability and damages. If there is liability, then by your own admission the damages are nominal. Therefore you have a nominal case, which probably can be resolved for a nominal sum.
