Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Fcra
I was sued by a CA and lost. I recently found out that this company was never licensed to do business in FL. The company is still listing this debt as a open collection on my credit report and accruing interest from 2005. The FTC and the state attorney said that there are several violations. What are my options? Can I sue this CA? Can anything be done about the lawsuit?

First, see www.ConsumerLawyerHelp.com for form letters and links that will help you.
Contact credit agencies to get credit repaired and follow instructions on web site. Contact state attorney's office, contact Feds (see web site) and find consumer lawyer in your area. If you tell me where you are, I may be able to point to an attorney.
