Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
I am in a fee dispute with Verizon. In phone conversations with them I was told of notations in my account file . When I requested a copy of this file, along with notations, I was told that they could not provide them to me.
Don't I have the legal right, per the freedom of information act, to receive a copy of my file?

FOIA or Freedom of information act pertains to federal public records. However if you sue them you can subpoena or request as part of the lawsuit those notations.
