Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

Florida lawsuit summons on credit card

I am in Florida & was served a summons in Palm Beach County for a Discover credit card bill--I have no assets & my house is in FC--also no job currently--they served the summons papers at my home to my daughter who has special needs not to me--I am not filing BK because I can not afford an attorney and I dont believe in it the attorneys are handling the collection for Discover
