Florida lawsuit summons on credit card
I am in Florida & was served a summons in Palm Beach County for a Discover credit card bill--I have no assets & my house is in FC--also no job currently--they served the summons papers at my home to my daughter who has special needs not to me--I am not filing BK because I can not afford an attorney and I dont believe in it the attorneys are handling the collection for Discover

There is not a question here. Generally, if your daughter is 25 years old (or older) and who lives there with you, then service is proper. You can object to service, but that may only increase the amount that will be due in attorneys fees and costs.

Typo in the last answer. It is 15 years old, not 25 years old.
