Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Florida layaway laws?
My girlfriend set up a layaway plan with a furniture company, she applied $200 to the purchase but later decided that she did not want the couch while still playing towards the layaway. She asked the furniture company for a refund but they said that they do not give refunds on layaways. Is there any avenues or laws/statues that will give her a chance to receive her refund. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Anthony

Re: Florida layaway laws?
Read her layaway contract. It would not surprise me if no refunds were permitted.
