Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
I found a 2000 Hyundai Accent GL on craigslist and went to check it out and had test driven it. But it wasn't until I was halfway home in that car that I noticed a clicking noise coming from the engine. I am going to get it checked out at a garage but my question is if I find out that there needs to be a lot of work done to it that I wasn't told about, is there like a 24 hour time period for me to return the car for the full refund?

Your question makes a great example of why people should have a mechanic inspect any used vehicle BEFORE they buy it. You assumed the risk by "checking it out, and test driving it" yourself. If you purchased this from a private owner and not a dealership, you are not likely to get a full refund. It is a 10 year old car, and the seller probably considered this an "as is" sale. If you have no "contract" that warrants the condition, you bought it as is.
