Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
can furniture store take me to court, they are harrassing me yes i do owe and intend to pay but they call and threaten me to pay certain amount or they will file court action. i live in florida. pls help

Tell them that the Fair Debt Collections Act prohibits harassing phone calls and threats. Keep records of every call, who called, when, what number, and what was said. If they are bad enough, you may be able to get a lawyer to take your case, and if you win, the furniture store could be liable for your legal fees.
