Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Furniture Store Payments
I purchsed funiture about fiveyears ago on a time payment, with no intrest for 18 mos. About two and a half years ago,I became disabled and can no longer work. My disability check is uder $350.00 monthly. I have moved in with friends and pay minimal rent to them. The furniture co. is threate ning a lawsuit against me. Do I have to pay for the purchase? I am totally unable to work, and have no other means to pay them back. Should I consider trying to file a bankruptcy? I also owe other bills that have fallen behind ,Thank-you

Depending on your income bankruptcy may no longer be an option for you.
