Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
GAP Insurance
Purchased a car from a dealership and purchased GAP insurance. The premium for the Gap insurance was included in the price of the car loan. Before the car was paid off my son had an accident in the car and car was a total loss. I tried to get the remainder of the Gap insurance that was not used and the Dealership only paid a portion of the total received and now the dealership is closed. Another dealership for the same type of car says this particular dealer has done this many times and he is getting ready to open in another location in Crystal River soon. Please let me know how to get the money that this dealer still owes me.
Thanks.

Re: GAP Insurance
Sue him, if the same dealer opens up and if there is a breach of the contract that you have with them.
