Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida

Garnishment

Recently, my wages were garnished for a debt that had a judgment on it six years ago. I live in Florida and filed for the 'Head of Household' exemption and the Judge ruled to dissolve the garnishment based on this exemption. The attorney for the creditor appeared telephonocally and the judge ordered him to return the held wages and halt the garnishment immediately. However, the garnishment continued for another month and the attorney for the creditor has yet to return the garnished wages (now a month and a half after the judges ruling). Was notifying my employer (Defense Financing and Accounting) the attorney for the creditors responsibility and how long do they have to return the held wages? What are my options? Thank you so much for your time and help!

Re: Garnishment

Was an order ever actually entered? If not, draft and send the judge an order to enter. Make a motion to return your wages and hold the attorney in contempt.
