Legal Question in Consumer Law in Florida
Do i have grounds to sue for a nonlabeled food that i'm allergic too?
I work in a dessert business that is a franchise. I taste tested an item, that i later found out had pecans in it. I'm highly allergic to tree nuts. The name of the item and the look of it didn't give idea to the fact that it contained nuts. And as franchises we only order the food not make it...Thankfully i only tested it ...if i'd ate a spoon full or worse a serving i could have went into shock...just tiny amounts affects my breathing. Do I have grounds to sue the corp. company? thank you.

From what it sounds like, you have incurred no damages or injuries. If that is the case, then you have no case.
