Can a hospital put a lien on a primary residence in Florida? How to protect this from happening?

Yes, a hospital can put a lien on your residence, primary or otherwise. You protect yourself by paying your hospital bill.

Do you really owe them the money? If yes, contact the hospital and try to work out a payment with them. If no, contest the lien. Regards,
